An investigation by FakeReporter found that an anonymous campaign against Ra'am and its alliance with Yoav Segalovitz led to companies linked to businessman Yitzhak Mirilashvili, owner of Channel 14.
The campaign began in mid-October with large billboards near Tayibe and Tira and in Givatayim. A polling firm owned by the same group ran Arabic-language surveys about Ra'am weeks earlier, and suspected fake accounts that once had Vietnamese names posted similar content.
A petition was filed with the Central Elections Committee to reveal who funded the campaign.
