Worker's organisation Koach La'Ovdim has logged 45 attacks this year on Superbus drivers in Jerusalem alone, including beatings, stoning, spitting and insults; other companies do not publish figures.
On 2 October at least six Arab drivers were attacked in Jerusalem within 24 hours, with only one minor detained.
Abed Mahajna of Umm al-Fahm said that on Wednesday evening in Hadera a man threw an object at his bus and then struck him in the face when he got out, knocking him down and abusing Arabs. He was treated for light injuries; it was the second attack on him in four years.
