Road-safety group Or Yarok counted 134 Arab citizens killed in road crashes from 1 January to 5 October 2026, against 113 in the same period of 2025. Fourteen died in September.
About 342 people have been killed on Israel's roads this year; Arab citizens are 39% of them while making up about 20% of the population.
Of the Arab dead, 61 were in private cars, 21 were pedestrians and 25 rode motorcycles or scooters. Sixteen were children under 14 and 50 were aged 15 to 24; 95 died on intercity roads.
Or Yarok chief executive Yaniv Yaakov said the transport ministry had failed to reduce deaths, especially in Arab society.
