Police arrested four women from Ar'ara an-Naqab on Sunday 11 October on suspicion of throwing stones at members of their family during a running family dispute. Police said video showed them gathering and throwing stones.
Station commander Baruch Honig said nobody would be allowed to take the law into their own hands.
National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir wrote that police had for years avoided arresting women before he took office, and that under him 'women are arrested too', calling the suspects criminals.
