Israel Police said on Thursday 22 October that murders in Arab society had dropped by about 14% since the start of 2026 compared with the same period last year.
The figures were presented at a meeting chaired by Police Commissioner Danny Levy, who described them as the best in three years and ordered more operations against crime organisations and their finances.
The statement did not give the totals behind the percentage or say how it was calculated, and it refers to murder incidents rather than the number of people killed. The Abraham Initiatives' count of people killed shows a fall of about 10.5% on 2025.
