Arab citizens marked the anniversary of the October 2000 events on Saturday 3 October with visits to graves and memorials and a central march in Arraba, called by the High Follow-Up Committee.
The day began at the graves in Jatt and moved through Umm al-Fahm, Muawiya, Nazareth, Kafr Kanna, Kafr Manda and Sakhnin before reaching Arraba. The march left the old mosque on Daher al-Omar Street at 4 pm and ended by the memorial in the school square.
The committee said wide participation affirmed the community's attachment to its rights.
