Yassin al-Shawi was shot in Segev Shalom (Shaqib al-Salam) on the evening of Monday 12 October. Police said the first suspicion was a feud between families. A 38-year-old man was moderately hurt. Bokra gives his age as about 20; the Times of Israel says 23.
On Tuesday 13 October Nimer Jabareen, 20, was shot in Umm al-Fahm and declared dead at HaEmek Hospital in Afula. Another man was lightly hurt. Police said the shooting appeared criminal and had not yet found where it took place.
Jabareen was the 11th person from Umm al-Fahm killed this year, Arab48 reported. The Times of Israel cited an Abraham Initiatives count of 184, of whom 156 were shot, against 200 at the same point last year.
