A bus carrying Ihud Bnei Sakhnin supporters was pelted with stones on the evening of 10 October as they returned from a match at Bloomfield Stadium in Tel Aviv.

Israel Football League chairman Erez Halfon condemned the attack and said violent people belong behind bars, not in the stands.

The club wrote to the police commissioner asking for protection for players and fans at away matches, including travel. On 20 October the club held a memorial match for its late player Lior Asulin with the 2004 State Cup-winning squad.
