Occupied homes in Tayibe face demolition on 27 October, election day, under orders issued about twenty years ago and never carried out, attorney Dr. Qais Nasser told Bokra.
He said the Israel Land Authority recently asked the enforcement authority to activate the old orders, with more homes set for the following days, and that a team at the State Comptroller's office began examining the file after he sent it material.
Nasser argued the timing aims to intimidate Arab voters and serve right-wing parties; he presented this as his own assessment.
