UN inquiry tells General Assembly Israel continues to commit genocide in Gaza
The commission said Israel's expanding control in Gaza keeps killing civilians near the yellow line. Israel rejected the findings as misinformation.

The UN Commission of Inquiry, chaired by Srinivasan Muralidhar, reported to the General Assembly that Israel has committed war crimes and crimes against humanity and continues to commit genocide in Gaza.
The report was presented to the UN General Assembly, UN News said on 26 October. The commission was set up by the Human Rights Council in 2021.
It found that Israel continues to commit genocide in Gaza and has committed war crimes and crimes against humanity in the occupied Palestinian territory.
Israel's permanent mission in Geneva dismissed the report as part of a campaign to demonise Israel.
Separately, UN special rapporteur Francesca Albanese issued a report titled 'Truth under the rubble: media in the time of genocide' on the killing of Palestinian journalists and restrictions on media.
