Israel's Channel 12 reported that Likud was preparing to challenge results from Arab polling stations before any votes were cast, Al Jazeera said. The Times of Israel reported that Likud was ready to call the election stolen if Netanyahu loses, citing concern about fraud in Arab areas.

Separately, three people were arrested over an alleged scheme to pay people to vote for the Arab party Ra'am. Activists from the Joint List and Ra'am urged Arab citizens to vote early on Tuesday, according to The New Arab. Polls suggested Arab parties could hold the balance.

Only Palestinian citizens of Israel can vote. Palestinians in the occupied West Bank have no say in choosing the government, unlike the settlers living among them, Al Jazeera noted in a feature on the vote. The settlers vote in Israeli elections; their Palestinian neighbours do not.
