Israeli police said they arrested 10 people on 19 October over a wave of settler violence that included attacks on a Washington Post photographer and European diplomats.

The Shin Bet, Border Police and military took part in the investigation, police said. The operation also targeted suspected breaches of a closed military zone order and illegal construction.

Heidi Levine said she was shocked and insulted that Netanyahu had described the attack on her as alleged.

The arrests followed condemnation from the United States and European governments.
