Israel says strikes killed two men it accuses of moving millions of shekels to Hamas
Israel describes such strikes as responses to ceasefire violations; Gaza's health ministry counts more than 1,500 people killed since the truce began.
The Israeli military said strikes last week in Gaza City and Nuseirat killed a Hamas cell commander and an Islamic Jihad operative it accused of transferring millions of shekels to Hamas.
The military named the men as Alaa Ibrahim Nimer Arshi, a cell commander in Hamas's armed wing, killed in Gaza City on Wednesday, and Karam Riyad Hassan Abu Butaihan, of Palestinian Islamic Jihad, killed in Nuseirat on Tuesday.
It said it had also bombed three Hamas weapons depots in central Gaza on Thursday.
On 26 October the military said it had killed two more Hamas officers, Mohammed Halawa and Ahmed Zahir Fuad Abu-Odeh, accusing them of acting in systematic violation of the ceasefire.
