Jerusalem governorate says tunnelling under Silwan is cracking homes
It accused Israeli authorities and settler organisations of using archaeology to advance a political narrative. No Israeli response was included in the report.

The Palestinian Jerusalem Governorate said excavations and tunnels beneath Silwan, especially Wadi Hilweh, were causing cracks, collapses and structural damage to homes above.
The governorate's statement, carried by WAFA, said digging focuses on layers from the 10th century BCE while sidelining other periods.
It described work across the Holy Basin, between the Old City and the Mount of Olives, including al-Bustan and Wadi al-Rababa.
The claims come from the governorate and were not independently verified in the report.
